Japanese Kiyomizu Ware Ceramic FUCHIN Weight for Hanging Scroll Vtg Japan 045
Fuchin is a weight put on the tip of a roller of kakejiku (hanging scroll).
Hang ‘fuchin’ (a decorative wood or ceramic piece used for preventing kakejiku from swinging in the wind) on its ‘jikusaki’ (the end of knobs on a cylindrical rod at the bottom), if needed.
This item was purchased by us from a Japanese university professor whose family was moving.Previously, the professor lived with his parents in two households, so we purchased fair a few of Japanese tableware from the Showa period (AD1926-1989) In goos condition. Please see the pictures carefully. Please bid with confidence.
We have cleaned and inspected them ourselves and listed. We ship with an old box.
